I'm pretty happy to answer that question for you because Curve is very intuitive, that's really the first word that popped into my mind when I heard that question. Our end-users have learned it very quickly. Our managers have become high-level users of it very quickly, and our executive team are also very happy with it, as are our patients, so it's a very intuitive software.
The fact that it's cloud-based has been a real blessing for us. It's very simple. It's been a significant reduction in IT costs for us because it's cloud-based. And it's been a very great source of connectivity between our different offices. Another feature of Curve that we've really enjoyed is how supportive the Curve team is.
We grew from 15 offices to 22 offices while on Curve, and that was a massive undertaking, and a lot of people are daunted by that type of expansion, and we actually found that Curve made it easier for us.
And then Curve was very supportive in training us both individually and collectively. All of us got very well trained by Curve.
Curve has a lot of features that are very helpful, and their training systems are excellent with all the different features that they have. And then we had monthly meetings with Curve, and the monthly meetings were very powerful. It's uncommon in the software industry to have such a responsive company. When we had a concern it was brought up and very quickly addressed. It felt great to have ideas on how to make the software better. And then a few months later, the idea was in practice.
And another nice feature of Curve that has worked well for us is the updates. Updates have been seamless and automatic and frequent and that's been great for us. We've had situations in the past where updates are once or twice a year, and it's a long wait, and it means that sometimes it's up to two years before you actually see an improvement. And with Curve, the updates have been very quick.
