You know, we had a database-driven practice management software that was good, yet I felt it was rather clunky. And, you know, the hardest part is, is that we were really used to that. So I'm not going to say that the transition was easy, any transition is always going to be difficult and you need to prepare your team for it. But, once we made the transition, I found that we ran a lot more efficiently in our practice. We could really focus on patient care, and the practice management software really drives itself now, once we're using Curve. So I feel that it's been a great transition from, you know, our server-based software to our cloud-based software in Curve.
I'm a big fan of multi-functional technology, and I really believe that Curve Superhero hits on all of those points. When we switched to Curve Superhero, we were able to eliminate so many subscriptions that we found out that we really didn't need. And in turn, we were much more efficient, as I've mentioned before, but we've also been able to communicate more readily, and more appropriately with our patients.
Our patients love the data that we're able to provide them. We as practitioners love the data that is provided to us, and it's really allowed us to grow our practice, to focus on our patients, and not really worry about the practice management software, because it's so multifunctional and it does so much for you and your practice.
As a dentist and a consumer, I'm a huge believer in multifunctional technology, and Curve Superhero is just that. There is so much functionality of the software that it really allows you to focus on your patients and not really worry about the software. The patients love the data that they receive from us, the billing, the treatment plans and whatnot. And we love the data and the reports that we receive from Curve Superhero.
In addition, we're able to constantly communicate with our patient, on anything that's necessary within the practice. I'm able to utilize the software from anywhere, whether I'm at home, whether I'm at the office, or even if I'm overseas. I can always log in and grab the data that I need, which relates to patient care in the end.
So I feel that the multi-functional aspect of Curve Superhero really allows us to be more efficient. And in turn, it helps grow your practice because you can focus on the patient and not really worry about the software – the software drives itself throughout the process.
In my practice, I'm a big believer in the patient experience, and I believe that the patient experience starts when the patient first contacts your office, and one of the biggest players in that is Curve Superhero. We're able to learn everything that we need about that patient and incorporate everything that we need about that patient into the software, and that allows the patient or affords the patient however you want to say it, but it makes the patient understand that we know them and that we're going to take their best interest at heart. So Curve Superhero from patient engagement to patient billing to treatment plans, and the list just goes on and on, really has a positive impact on the patient experience within your dental practice.
When you think of practice management software, let's face it, folks, we're in the 21st century and it's time to move to a cloud-based practice management software. I will tell you that in my practice, I've been doing this for 24 years now, if I can do it, anybody can do it.
I think that the availability of data, from anywhere is so important and something that we need to stay on top of. When patients contact you, you want to be able to grab their data immediately. And cloud-based software allows us to do that once again from anywhere that you may be.
I think it's time that we stop worrying about, you know, network intrusion if we don't have to with the secure based cloud wear software. And I think that Curve really enhances the patient experience and improves our capabilities as practitioners to constantly engage and communicate and share data with both ourselves and with the patient. So the point is, is that it's time. Server based software is basically not efficient, it's not something that we should still be using, and it's time to move on to the cloud – and that's exactly what Curve is.
