Startups: Do It Right From The Beginning
So for startups, we're in the golden age right now building startups. It is a very exciting time. There's a lot of reasons why startups are achieving huge amounts of success. Doing a startup is also this wonderful opportunity for someone to build it right from the beginning. Whether that's your first practice or your 20th, to have an opportunity to have the perfect location, the perfect facility team you picked, and technology you chose is a wonderful opportunity.
Now, there's a lot of reasons why startups need to consider an all in one solution like Curve. First of all, we've got costs to consider. When we have an all in one solution that is cloud based, we get to, in a way, throw away the cost of the old model- the cost of having to manage server even by the server, the cost of having monthly IT support, the costs of going down whenever there's problems, the costs of having to kind of manage upgrades in the software and online data backups, and deal with security breaches. All of those things take a financial toll, they take an emotional toll, they definitely eat up our time, and we don't even need to do all of those old school things anymore when we have a cloud based all in one platform. So that is one huge reason why startups should do that.
And specifically with Curve, because Curve is the platform that I recommend to all of our dentists nationwide that are doing startups every year. And specifically with Curve, there's another benefit, you know, a practice when it opens, it's not collecting any money yet - there's this kind of ramp up until you're collecting enough money and you have profitability. And those business systems need to be the systems of today, not yesterday.
Today has automatic texting, automatic dashboards, automatic payment posting, technology- driven business processes, so that the team we have doesn't have to be a master of 50 things. The team we have can be trained on now less things and be a master of those and be focused on those. Because we've set out and put in this all in one platform that is automatically keeping everything clean, without my focus, without my worry.
So that's another reason why startups like, have this great opportunity to just do it right from the beginning. And then when we think past that, we have the costs, we have the business systems. We think past that - Will this practice have multiple locations? Will this practice acquire additional locations or start more locations? Will will they be bringing on specialists? Will they add more complexity over time?
Curve has been set up so that if you have multiple locations, it's seamless. It's been set up so that you can share patient bases between practices. It's also been set up where you can remote into everything like that. You know, will we have another Covid? Will we have to deal with practice being flooded, being down? How are we going to handle remote work? And today, there's more and more remote work being done for practices, call centers and billing and insurance centers. All of that puts Curve as like the number one place to park your patient base.

So, you know, if I'm a startup, I'm not going to pick some dinosaur system. I'm not going to pick some system that requires me to have a server that I can't remote into well, that's super costly, and every time I hire someone new, I got to teach them this Frankenstein approach at the software. No, that's gone. I'm smarter than that, I'm going to pick a system that makes complete sense financially for my staff and for my future – and that's Curve.
